Everyone has a style. Mine's sort of sharp, clean and what I think of as contemporary with a small 'c'.

Ceramics has always been a passion, but I like to work with all kinds of materials. Wood is a favourite. Metals too. I have long been drawn to tabletop objects - things that we use every day without thought. I blame tea - any excuse to make a cup, to sit at the table and talk and think about things.

I try to keep my design soultions simple. Naturally this makes things complicated. When I manage to combine style and functionality with an innovative twist, I feel I have done some work. Of course, then its time for more tea!
